Value Added Endorsements: Upgraded Protection For Your Client’s Vehicle And The Lifestyle That Surrounds It

Value Added Endorsements are available in Ontario, British Columbia, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

For enthusiasts, loving cars may begin with their favorite vehicle, but it rarely ends there.

That’s because automotive passion is a lifestyle. There are spare parts and tools involved, valuable papers, automobilia, car shows and so much more. And because of that, your clients deserve insurance that protects their collector vehicles, of course, but also protects their entire automotive life.

That’s where our two value-added endorsements come in: “Premium” and “Ultimate.” That way, your car-loving clients have two options to upgrade their insurance beyond our “Guaranteed Value Plus” policy, based on their needs.

Here are the basics. Our Premium Value-added Endorsement increases automatic vehicle coverage from $50,000 to $500,000; pays up to 125% of Guaranteed Valueâ for a total loss if a vehicle’s market value has increased from the time it was insured; and includes a total of $15,000 in additional coverages that upgrade protection for both your client’s vehicle and the lifestyle that surrounds it, with $1,500 in protection for:

• Spare parts
• Automotive tools
• Personal effects
• Vehicle valuable papers
• Accidental airbag deployment
• Vehicle lock coverage
• Car covers
• Branded merchandise
• Car show expense reimbursement
• Post-loss trailering

Our Ultimate Value-added Endorsement includes all the same additional coverages (but for $2,500 each), plus $500 for emergency evacuation expenses and up to 90 days of limited international physical damage coverage. It also increases automatic vehicle coverage up to $1,000,000 and offers the same Market Value Protection up to 125%.

Both endorsements are available for clients in Ontario, British Columbia, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
