Ontario – any model year
Exotic vehicles are those that feature cutting-edge design, technology or performance.
The annual production numbers for these vehicles is generally 3,000 or less. Examples
include Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Dodge Vipers and Plymouth Prowlers. Because these
are newer vehicles, Hagerty must ensure that the vehicle is being treated as a collectible
and driven on a limited basis.
Special Interest
Special interest vehicles have rare features or special edition packages that most
hobbyists would consider collectible. The annual production numbers for these vehicles
generally does not exceed 25,000. Similarly, because these vehicles can be easily
driven for daily use, the vehicle must be treated as a collectible and driven on
a limited basis.
